How was your hair before you applied the colour (ie pre-bleached, growing out old colour, etc)?
Pre-bleached.
What is your favourite hair dye brand and what is so great about it?
Prestige Be Extreme, because the packages are big, they have a vast range of shades, they last 5 weeks on my hair, they aren't harsh and they are cheap. My second favourite is Dye With Attitude. It also has a variety of colours - it's even lighter on the hair and lasts 6 weeks on my hair and the package is even bigger than the previously mentioned brand, but it is 6x more expensive and only 3x better than it.
Your no.1 advice for dyeing your own hair is:
Get it bleached by a professional. Dyeing is easy with semi-permanent dyes.
